Drive through snow-covered mountain passes along the famous Chuysky Tract. Meet the Altai people, the indigenous people of the region. Ride the cable cars of two ski resorts and see non-freezing lakes. Set off to explore winter Altai - every day of this journey will bring you a new impression.
You will cover about 800 km amidst the snow-covered Altai mountains. You will ascend two peaks - Mount Sinyukha and Mount Kokuy - via chairlifts. You will take walks in the vicinity of Lake Teletskoye. And you will stay in comfortable, cozy hotels with all amenities.
The journey will take place in a mini-group of up to 6 people, and transfers along the route will be in a comfortable minivan. You can bring children aged 10 and above with you.

You will see the pearl of Altai - Lake Teletskoye, which is among the five deepest lakes in Russia

The sequence of routes may vary due to weather and other unpredictable circumstances.
You will meet with the group at the airport and then head to a cafe for breakfast. Then you will visit the Andrey Anokhin National Museum. You will see several exhibitions dedicated to the nature, history, and culture of the Altai people. One of the museum's main treasures is the mummy of the "Altai Princess," found on the Ukok Plateau. The sarcophagus with the mummy is open for viewing on specific days set by the museum.
After the tour, you will go to a cafe for lunch (paid separately).
Next, you will be taken to the pearl of the Altai Mountains - Lake Teletskoye, which is one of the top 5 deepest lakes in Russia.
You will check into a domed eco-hotel in the middle of a cedar forest and have dinner at the cafe (included in the price).
Route distance: 160 km by minivan.
After breakfast today, you will be taken to the "Teletsky" ski resort. Here, you will take a cable car to the viewing platform on Mount Kokuy (1386 m) and see a panorama of the mountains and the taiga surrounding Lake Teletskoye. The tour will last about two hours, after which you will have lunch on your own at a cozy cafe at the summit, enjoying the view of the Lake Teletskoye valley.
After lunch, you will go snowmobiling through the winter taiga. Part of the route goes across the frozen Lake Teletskoye. You will visit a mysterious and mystical place - Stone Bay. According to one version, it was formed by a meteorite fall. Then the route continues through the snowy taiga to the viewing platform on Mount Tilan-Tuu, which offers a view of the source of the Biya River and the surrounding area.
After the ride, you will be taken back to the hotel to rest. In the evening, you will have dinner at the hotel, which must be paid separately.

After breakfast, you will transfer via the Chemal Trakt to the "Manzherok" resort. The all-season "Manzherok" resort is one of the most ambitious and promising ski projects in Russia, aiming to become the country's largest ski resort in the near future. The project is being implemented using modern technologies and the world's best practices in ski tourism.
You will take a chairlift up Malaya Sinyukha Mountain, where you will admire the panoramic view of the Katun River valley and Lake Manzherok.
Then you will have lunch on your own at a cafe.
Upon arrival at the hotel, you will check into a comfortable double room in the main building and have dinner on your own at a cafe.
Route distance: 200 km by car.
In the morning, you will have breakfast and head to Patmos Island Monastery. It was named after the Greek island of the same name where John the Theologian wrote the "Book of Revelation."
The secluded rocky island with a monastery situated on it seems to hover over the turquoise streams of the Katun River. To get there, you must step onto a shaky suspension bridge that sways over the turbulent stream - a metaphor for the path of faith leading to peace and harmony. Next to the church, an image of the Virgin Mary with the infant Jesus is carved directly into the rock.
After the tour, you will return to the hotel and have lunch on your own.
Then you will head to one of the wonders of Altai - the Blue Lakes, also called the "blue eyes of the Katun." They can only be seen in autumn and winter when the river level drops, revealing three karst lakes with water of an incredible turquoise hue. Their crystal clarity and saturated color, created by mineral suspension, create the effect of giant aquariums against the backdrop of snow-capped mountains.
Returning to the hotel, you will have dinner on your own.
Route distance: 120 km by car, 3 km on foot.
After breakfast, you will set off along the legendary Chuysky Tract to the Uch-Enmek Nature and Ethnographic Park. This is not just a picturesque area, but a true natural temple under the open sky, where stone steles and ancient burial mounds form a sacred map created by unknown civilizations. Local residents believe that the Earth's energy lines converge here, and the air is filled with a special power that brings clarity of thought and spiritual insight. The park is named after Mount Uch-Enmek - its three-horned peak is revered by the local population even more than the famous Belukha Mountain.
In the park, you will have a national lunch with a tasting of Altai dishes. You will try archi, kurut, and talkan with butter and honey.
After lunch, you will see the ancient burial mounds and rock art of the park and feel the special energy of the valley, formed at the junction of natural anomalies and early forms of religions.
Returning to the hotel, you will have dinner at a cafe (paid separately).

In the morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to Gorno-Altaysk Airport.
Route distance: 30 km by minivan.

The hotel is a 15-minute walk from Lake Teletskoye, surrounded by cedar forest. Guest amenities include a café and two banyas (a modular wood-fired sauna and a large wood-fired sauna with a tub), a fire pit, and a grill area.
You will be accommodated in a "Small Dome" double room with a double bed. The room includes: shower, toilet, refrigerator, kettle, heated floors, air conditioning, heater, and Wi-Fi.
Located in the "Biryuzovaya Katun" tourist cluster. You will stay in double rooms with a double bed or two single beds, a shower, and a toilet. The property features a restaurant, mobile network coverage, and Wi-Fi.
Passive relaxation and sightseeing — cruises for example. No physical activities. Good for older people.
In winter, daytime temperatures in the Altai Mountains range from 0°C to -20°C, dropping to between -5°C and -30°C at night. Temperatures can be lower around the Blue Lakes and along the Chuisky Trakt route.
